ATTORNEY POSITION AVAILABLE
Getman, Sweeney & Dunn, PLLC is seeking a junior attorney to assist in handling the firm’s growing litigation practice. The firm represents employees only, primarily in overtime pay, minimum wage, and other wage violation cases. We handle individual, class and collective actions throughout the U.S. Most of our litigation is in federal court.
The firm is family-friendly and thrives on a collegial, team-based litigation approach. We are six attorneys (you would be the seventh) and eight paralegals.
Applicants need a strong commitment to righting wrongs, strong writing and research skills, strong stand up and communication skills, and an ability to navigate complex litigation procedure. Strong interpersonal skills are also required to work with our team and our diverse clients.
Getman & Sweeney is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity. Spanish fluency would be helpful, but is not required. A year or more of legal experience is preferred, but not required.
Compensation includes salary and commission depending on experience, health insurance, 401-k, and other benefits.
