Wages are at the center of security and comfort. Nothing is more important than being able to keep a roof over one’s head, support family, and put food on the table. In a country where the rich continue to get richer, we cannot allow employers to commit wage theft against their employees, and fail to pay them for every hour worked. I am proud to represent workers, and passionate about fighting for every dollar they have earned.

Ms. Friedman joined the firm as an associate in 2025. Before joining the firm, she spent a decade working in the enforcement of worker protection laws in New York City. First she was a Staff Attorney and then the Supervising Attorney at the Bureau of Labor Law in the New York City Comptroller’s Office, where she oversaw the enforcement of New York’s prevailing wage laws. Ms. Friedman then worked as Senior Enforcement Counsel in the Office of Labor Policy & Standards in the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, supervising the enforcement of laws such as Paid Sick Leave and the Fair Workweek Law, as well as a mediation program for domestic workers’ wage and hour claims. She was also a recipient of the National Lawyers Guild Black Lives Matter Civil Litigation Fellowship, where she participated in ongoing civil rights cases with lawyers on the Civil Litigation Taskforce.
